While I’m writing, the Grand Canyon is calling me. There are days that are mostly traveling time. But the miles are never the same. From Oklahoma City to Texas.

Mentre vi scrivo sono già quasi al Grand Canyon. Ci sono giorni che sono per lo più di viaggio. Ma i chilometri non sono mai sempre uguali. Da Oklahoma City direzione Texas.
The landscape changes as the temperature changes. We are approaching the desert and we can feel it. In an almost suffocating heat, we took refuge in western goods shops, in Stockyards city – I have a little ‘burgled’ and then visit a touching Memorial before leaving the city. A surreal peace and tranquility. Two portals that mark the time in which a part of the city is changed forever. With this in image in our eyes, and heart, with no words, no courage to talk each other, we got in the car. Tutumcari direction. Unique, highly recommended stop for the American spirit and Texan, is the big Texas ranch — look at the pictures to believe it.

Il paesaggio cambia come cambia la temperatura . Ci si avvicina al deserto e si sente. In un caldo quasi soffocante ci siamo rifugiati nei negozi western di Stockyards city – che ho un po’ svaligiato (!) per poi visitare un toccante Memorial prima di lasciare la città. Una pace e una tranquillità surreale. Due portali che segnano il tempo in cui una parte di città é cambiata per sempre. Con questa immagine negli occhi, nessuno ha avuto il coraggio di parlare; ci siamo messi in macchina. Direzione Tutumcari. Unico stop, altamente consigliato, per lo spirito americano e texano, è il big Texas ranch — guardate le foto per credere.
