Subscription Box Mania: Glossy Box

I’ve gotten subscription box fever and I’m so wishing that I would’ve came up with the idea to put products in a pretty box and send them off monthly to the millions of subscribers. I’m pretty sure I would’ve been a happy girl skipping all the way to the bank. Everything from cosmetics, food, snacks, and even products for your beloved 4 legged buddy can now be found in subscription boxes. For the last 2 months, I’ve been trying out Glossy Box.

When I first subscribed to a few of the beauty boxes, I found that I was wasting money because I could not use any of the facial products that were included due to my super sensitive skin.  If I even thought about putting those products on my face I’d been singing “Freddy Krueger “ in the house, throw your hand s up”. I made the decision to get rid of Birchbox and Sample Society. After checking out reviews on most of the beauty boxes, I decided to try out Glossy Box.. So far, I love their service, their packaging, and the contents of the boxes I’ve received.

When it comes to these boxes, I think companies should keep 2 things in mind. Everyone doesn’t have the same skin type and one size does NOT fit all. I have a wonderful bath wrap I received in one of my Popsugar Must Have boxes that is working wonderfully as a dust rag.

I received my first box in June and just received the July box. Check out all the fantastic goodies! Who could resist brands like Tarte, Oscar de la Renta, SpaRituals, and Bvlgari.I know I’m late, but I actually like to try the products out and see how they work for me.

In June, I received c.Booth Honey Almond dry oil mist, Oscar de la Renta essential luxuries samples, Phillip B. lavender hair and body shampoo, SpaRitual favorites nail polish in the color Adore, and Tarte complexion brightening lipstick.

July’s box consisted of Brazilian Blowout acai deep conditioning masque, Bvlgari shampoo & shower gel, Dr. Brandt beauty balm, Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Tinted Lip Balm, Nails Inc. Baker Street nail polish, and Nicka K New York Make-up cleansing tissues.

I could use everything in the boxes except the Dr. Brandt beauty balm; it was about 4 shades to light for my caramel complexion. Glossy Box cost $21.00 a month but the products you received are not average sample sizes so you will get many uses.

Do you have subscription box mania? Which boxes do you subscribe to?
