Style Swap Tuesdays- This Day Forth

Happy Tuesday Lovelies ! Admittedly there is nothing too extraordinary about my look today, but it's the motivation behind this look, that makes it stand out. Talking about this A-line skirt, I feel like a fashion-offender stating that it's the first time I am wearing it in the two years of owning it. Call it spendthrifting or a serious case of overflowing closet, I now feel less embarrassed after having made this confession.   With this new year and a self-determination of concentrating more on my existing closet pieces, rather than buying more clothing items and then hoarding the same, I am making all possible efforts to recreate different looks using old pieces ( for instance this and this post).  I could have styled this skirt mod, with a blouse tucked in and a waist-belt ( a potential future outfit), but instead I went with a monochromatic, more relaxed look with an untucked jacquard top and a loosely wrapped scarf. I kept the rest of the look including makeup, neutral and easy-going.
