Style Swap Tuesdays- the Red Pinstripe Blazer and Labor Day Shopping Update

Lately, I have been obsessed with the color RED. Most of the stuff that I have been buying has been in red. Be it for myself or for my daughter or for the house- red has been the dominant color. Blame it on this fleeting color-craze, that I had to buy this red pinstripe blazer. I definitely paid over the odds  for that blazer, but looking at the pictures, I think the splurge is justified. Plus, I have already worn the jacket three times in the past two weeks: twice the exact same outfit and once with pair of printed skirt and sneakers, which makes me happy about this investment. 
Shifting gears to something non-red, Labor day was yesterday and like any other holiday-sale-shopper, I did some retail-therapy. Scroll down all the way to see what I bought this past weekend.
