So the story goes like this- " I spotted this pink wrap skirt on one of the very few Indian bloggers that I follow and on occasions look up to for sartorial inspiration. The skirt looked pretty and I vaguely remembered seeing it on the retailers website. But when I looked up online again, the skirt was sold out in all sizes. I tried a few local stores to check if they had any left, but no luck. I was so madly in love with this skirt, that I wasn't giving up the hunt so easily. I called my sister in India and asked her to check online- but all in vain...............
H&M skirt ( similar ) // ZARA bodysuit ( similar ) // ZARA shiny blazer ( buy same ) // STEVE MADDEN heels

It was sold out online in India as well. It sure was a popular item and not being able to own one was giving me major frowning lines. My sister was my last resort and getting a negative response from my last resort wasn't a good feeling at all. Anyways, as my search for a similar color skirt continued, my sister called early one morning and inquired about my skirt size?? To this my response was "are you getting me that skirt custom-made" and she goes like " nope, I am here at an H&M store and they have a few sizes in the skirt available." For a second I was cold anticipating the non-availability of my size but when she said yes to my size availability, I was literally jumping with joy. It felt like a battle-won. My sister bought the skirt and a week later it was at my doorstep and two days later this outfit was curated."
Thanks to my sister for hunting this skirt down and for taking all the trouble to ship it over to me. A skirt like this definitely deserves all the shoutout and praise but the story behind it is even better - it is an ode to the sartorial love we sisters share........
