If you remember yesterday's post, you might also remember me mentioning that
" this week is all about the statement sleeve and I was dedicating three consecutive posts this week to just that trend." The first one ( HERE ) was a more demure, balloon sleeve aka Victorian flare kinds. Today's happen to be more daring, over-the-top and super-sized. It is more like bell-bottom sleeves- fitted on the top and super flared on the bottom.
I bought this blouse in a whim at a local boutique. At first I was a bit skeptical about paying $$$ for a top, but looking at the pictures and the incredible amount of compliments I received from passers-by on the streets- I have no regrets.
I wore this look to a local fashion show past Saturday. With all the sweet intentions of going super-sized, I paired my gigantic sleeve ruffled top with my ruffled skirt, which BTW is now on sale and has been my confidante too. I have worn it three times in two weeks and there is more coming your way...so stay tuned !!
