Happy Tuesday Lovelies !
Truth be told- my outfit here today is cent percent inspired by this one. As much as I loved the inspiring look, I was more excited about how easy and wearable it was. Not only that-being able to get the dress custom-made was another bonus.
Yes, you read it right: I got the dress custom made. All I needed was a few yards of canary yellow silk fabric and a good seamstress and voila!!! --A new dress ready for a fraction of price of the original one.
A maxi dress like this is forgiving and without a doubt----'effing-hot'. Today I wore the dress in the simplest way, keeping it the focal point. The silver necklace and the brocade black bag were just an interesting juxtaposition of bold over delicate. Overall, I am enjoying the effortless-bohemian-drama of this look.
I aspire to wear this dress with some print soon- could be a jacket, a maxi skirt, or even aprinted shirt underneath, don't know what, but print is definitely on the cards. So stay tuned!!!!
P.S.- Your sartorial suggestions are always appreciated.
