If there was one clothing item that I could fill up my closet with, would have to be a coordinate set ( basically a matching top and bottom separates). I was always skeptical about buying matching separates, cuz I thought of them as childlike and costumey, but thanks to one of my reader's request for styling separates. If it wasn't for this request I would have never tried on a coordinating set.
But, sometimes your readers know best and listening to them pays off. I am officially a coordinate-o-holic, oh BTW I coined this word for myself and it has already been added to my social media dictionary. I now own a few matchy-matchy sets in all sorts of styles and bottoms- skirts, midi skirts, pants, shorts and what not. I love them for their ease of styling. It is like a one piece wonder that can be split into two distinct clothing items and your wardrobe can be maximized.

I bought this set HERE and have been raving about it on social media. You have to check out my latest episode on IGTV for proof of my love for this top and skirt set. Good news is that it comes in a dress too. That might not be the only reason why I love this set. See below for more reasons why I am loving it.
It has a fun floral print
You know how much this girl loves mixing prints. No mixing effort needed here, but the pattern on pattern just make me happy.
It is an effortless staple
Separates are always so effortless. Wear them as a set or split them to wear as individual pieces- styling options are limitless.
It is comfortable and everything but boring
It fits TTS, for reference I am wearing a size 4 in the blouse and size 6 in theskirt. It is 100% cotton and oh-so-comfortable. The balloon statement sleeves, a huge trend this spring, on the blouse make the set all the more fun and oh, did I mention the skirt has ruffles on the back too??
It is under $130
Each piece is under $70, making the entire set worth close to $130- a total bang for your back. Plus the store always has some coupon, using which I was able to score my set for under $75. Considering the number of times I've already worn this set, my cost-per-wear seems to have already been justified, already!
What do you think of this set? Would you consider it a keeper?
