Exactly a week ago from today was my birthday and just like that I turned 33. Well, not exactly just like that, but after a full year of wait from the day I turned thirty two and three-sixty-five days of happiness and hardship later, the sweet double digit rolled in.
If you ask me-" how I feel"; I would say " the same as I felt last year and the year before that". Situations might have changed but I feel better of where I am today. The pressure of accomplishing things for my family, especially for my daughter, has surmounted undoubtedly, but with my love (hubby) and life (daughter) by my side, I can set put and conquer anything. For me, age is a number and definitely a reminder of all that I need to accomplish for me and my family.
As you get older, you do get wiser, smarter and more focused on your goals, but the pressure to pace things just keeps multiplying. Time seems to be going by in a whim, but I believe in destiny and the Almighty: who has everything planned for you. Things will happen when they are mean't to happen, all you got to do is live life one day at a time. Just believe in yourself, your strengths and thank the Almighty for his mercy and the life he has given to you.
And today I would like to thank all who took time to remember me on my Birthday. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and humble wishes, truly means a lot to me. :)
