Honestly speaking, I am not liking my today's pictures, not for it's sartorial aspect but for the aesthetic component of it . The incandescent lighting, the dusky skin and the awkward posture is killing my appetite. I hadn't realized of my overly-tanned skin until I saw these pictures. This makes me want to edit the shots so bad. But no matter how hard I try, the tan will show through. So bare with these and let's shift focus from my skin color to the 50 shades of blue in this look. I wore this outfit to a power hour shopping party at Nordstrom. As you would know from my post here, Nordstrom was having it's anniversary sale, which concluded on Sunday. To celebrate this conclusion, my local Nordstrom hosted a two hour shopping event on Sunday. It was an invitation only after-hours shopping event. There was music, DJ, free on the spot monogramming, unlimited booze, giveaways and truly yours. I wanted to keep my outfit fuss-free and comfortable for the shopping extravaganza. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have already seen a few pics from the shopping event. Anyways, I am loving this look and thrilled by how the different shades of blue show through in the outfit, without overbearing each other. What say ????
