There was of course no end to the glamour on Oscar night, but look at these Instagrams taken by portrait photographer Mark Seliger at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Mark Seliger is known for his portraits of the stars. Basically if you are somebody in Hollywood, Mark Seliger has photographed you. Vanity Fair set up an “Instagram Studio” in addition to their already legendary photo booth at the party and stars stepped in front of Mark’s lens. The pics were then immediately posted on Vanity Fair’s Instagram feed. I don’t know about you, but I think these are the most beautiful Instagrams I have ever seen. To be fair, from the behind the scenes shots on Mark’s own Instagram account, he was not using an iPhone and there was lighting set up, so these were not off-the cuff-spur-of-the-moment shots but still, these beautiful portraits just elevate social media to a new stratosphere.
