Student Desk Ideas - The Finale and Free Printable

Picture Student Desk Ideas - FInished Student Desk Ideas - The Finale and Free Printable When I started this idea for a simple student desk, I never imagined being able to make it the perfect fit for her room.  We had very little room to work with, we opted to go with a simple style that we designed.  It truly fits in every way, color, size, and style. In fact, I will show you a little more of her room at the end so you understand the scheme we chose for her desk. I really love the way the chevron jars with the faux chalboard labels turned out! You can click here to learn how to make those, and they are so easy! They are the perfect addition to her desk top.  We added in a bulap storage box and some washi tape, all things students need, of course!  Picture Student Desk Accessories - Burlap, Washi Tape, and Chalkboard Labels We never hung her inspirational sign we made last week, but I like it right here in the corner of her desk.  She may eventually move it around, but for now I think it is perfect right where it stands.  Picture Back to School Inspiration Desk Decoration I am really happy with the way the DIY Burlap Bulletin Board turned out!  I printed out a few of her Instagram pictures and made little frames using some of her Washi Tape.  I thought it was a cute little addition.  Picture DIY Burlap Bulletin Board I also wanted to leave a little subtle reminder to keep her room clean.  Subliminal messaging! Picture Washi Tape Framed Instagram Pictures I want to make sure she has little notes reminding her all of the time how wonderful she is, and I made a few little notes to put around her room and in her gym bag.  Today I hung one from her satin cording on the bulletin board.   Picture Back to School Inspired Free Printables If you like that sweet little reminder, you can download the whole set of notes here, and I even left a few blank for your own personal inspirational reminders.  Picture Printable School Note Cards All in all, I think everything turned out just perfect.  She has bright colors, little inspirations, a great space to work on, and her own personal place to learn and grow.   Picture Student Desk Ideas and Inspiration Here is a little peak at what the rest of her room looks like.  Curtained bed, lots of fluffy pillows, a little burlap love, and a comfy spot to rest after working hard on her desk!  Did I ever mention she has been in a couple of little movies? Nothing big, just small parts, but to her - bragging rights.  Picture Little Miss Hollywood's Colorful Bed I hope you enjoyed the student desk ideas, back to school inspiration, and the fun little printables.  Make sure to download those free printable back to school notes.
