Hi viewers!

   I hope your Monday is going well, we all know this is the toughest day of the week (well next to nothing messes up your Friday like “realizing it’s only Wednesday” LOL). So I hope y’all hang in there and just imagine the fun you’ll be having this weekend again now that the weather is starting to be really pleasant. 

   Now to the next topic, some of you might notice that I love love love to bake and to eat pastries & bread (hence, the title of this blog). So I would like to show you guys what I successfully made from scratch (as I always prefer baking/making food from the basics, so I know what I am eating and feeding people).

Tadahhh!!! My very own Belgian Liege Waffles and a side of vanilla ice cream!   Yumm!!! talking about diet jeeezzzz no such thing when it comes to pastries.. well at least for me! but then I do tend to do more activities after I have eaten my guilty pleasure of the day versus passing out or dozing off after a meal which I have known most of the people here tend to do. That right there is a big No-No for me, eating my favorite meals/ pastries always gives me the motivation to be more active  that is probably why my metabolism is pretty high most of the time, I don’t do crazy hard-core workouts but mostly little once I can do at home like zumba or go to the sauna and swim for a couple of minutes, even just good old household chores will do the job.

I know most people see this bikini season as depriving oneself with what they call “fatty” food, but remember it’s all about portions & timing and of course a little exercise wont hurt. As for me, I will not starve myself and deprive my self the simple good pleasures in life, that is why I find ways to get what I want such as making food at home vs. fast food in this way I can still enjoy having a piece of cake or whatever dish I want knowing what’s in it plus you get to have a little activity again in the process of making it..poof calories burned right off the bat.
