Another one from Zola Jesus. I used a line from this song in my status update this morning and I thought it would be great to write about. The line I really like: Just wait a couple more years and you will have it all.
You know when you really want something and it takes longer to get than you thought it would? That’s about where I am right now and every time I hear this song I have hope. The meaning behind Zola’s lyrics are not always that obvious, but I think this one talks about holding on because one day everything will fall into place.
Stridulum was released in August of 2010 from the album Stridulum II. It had previously debuted in the UK as an EP. Unfortunately, this song never became a single.
