The street is increasingly becoming a source of inspiration. The first catwalk, the one of those who dress themselves to go to the events and fashion weeks; the one where artists and designers can express themselves freely. And the walls of the city, often become illegally their canvas by author.

Street style as well as street art now have a clearly defined role in society. They are made by ordinary people with an x factor that leads them to express themselves as they can and where they can.

And once again altaroma brings to light this phenomenon and the changing times and has invited DIAN a street artist from New York to design the icon of the XXV edition and to look at our Rome with his street artist eyes.

The result is a collage of eclectic and contaminated Hollywood myths blanded them with elegance and style icons such as Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn. All made by acid colors typical of pop-art. And this is his tribute to Rome that has literally captured and captivated him. You can see some of his works in the atrium of the complex Borgo Santo Spirito, the official Altaroma’s location.
