Stoli Salted Karamel Vodka + Chocolate + Cheese = Nirvana

Stoli Salted Karamel Vodka

I was in the liquor store (I know, shocking) when I noticed Stoli Salted Karamel Vodka on the shelf just above eye level. It was bathed in this heavenly light and I heard angels singing. They were singing Guns & Roses “Sweet Child of Mine,” which was weird, but I don’t question signs. In retrospect, it might have been the counter girl in a Guns & Roses tee shirt. Whatever. I bought the karamel vodka.

I’m not a big fan of flavored vodka, but if you had asked me to create one, I probably would of said “How about Salted Caramel Vodka?” But I would have used a “C” for caramel, because that is how we spell it in America, you dirty Russian commies, but I might have picked salted caramel vodka because I already know how to make bacon vodka.

Once I tried Stoli Salted Karamel Vodka, the Russians were forgiven for any and all spelling liberties. I forgive them for the cold war and Ivan Drago and everything with the exception of sending that dog into space and not bringing it back down. That was awful.

Stoli Salted Karamel Vodka is amazing.

Drink it straight out of the freezer or on ice – any mixing and you lose the heavenly caramel flavor.

My friend Kara came over with Godiva Salted Caramel chocolate and Beemster Gouda cheese to pair with the Stolichnaya and I was transported to a magical place filled with happy Russian puppies wearing American flag bandannas and singing “Sweet Child of Mine.”
