It was great to capture Steve and Jan’s wedding celebrations last year as Portland Castle wedding Photographers.
Both Bride & Groom share a love for the Dorset coast, often spending time on and around Portland and Weymouth.
So it was no surprise for the historic Portland Castle to be a natural choice of wedding venue, once having been one of Henry VIII’s coastal fortifications.
Their day was beautifully personal to them with special touches including a brass band providing back ground music during the ceremony, to a surprise mode of transport upon exiting the castle grounds.Unknown to Jan, Steve had arranged for a helicopter to land in the adjacent gardens that would wisk them away for an aerial tour of the Portland coastline. An experience that would stay with them along with their surprised guests for some time to come!
