1. EXT. EURECTUS, DAY, 1999
We see a planet, ""EURECTUS", a rocky, sandy white Italian quarry with a futuristic matte painting of a domed city on top, on a cliff. There is a light blue sky. We see GYPSIES in rags with small boxy blue plastic STUN-GUNS, living in vaguely futuristic caravans. We see an elderly, silver-haired, balding man in cravat and camel-coloured military uniform, without any hat, COLONEL X.
COLONEL X (as a huge black spaceship, jagged, and seemingly made out of coal, looms over)
This is the story of a planet, a planet that faced invasion. A planet called Eurectus, in the Krypto System. This is the story of its fall and rise.
We see CYBONS, dark blue-armoured robots who kind of resembled CYLONS from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, headed by a pale white black-haired man with solid blue eyeballs, in his thirties, longish feathery black hair. This is CAPTAIN CORNELIUS. They shoot at GYPSIES and destroy a CARAVAN.
COLONEL X
This is Captain Cornelius, my nephew, who was once an esteemed space explorer, but when he went back from the Black Hole, his soul was blackened and he released the mechanical agents of darkness known as the Cybons. He destroyed our planet, little knowing on the inside, hiding was a secret spaceship piloted by his cousin, my son, Starbuck Solo.
We see flying out of an exploding planet, a ridged FLYING SAUCER coming towards EARTH to a mock-SUPERMAN theme. It then glides over stock footage of NEW YORK. As it crashes, rises STARBUCK, tall, lean, like SUPERMAN but bare-chested.
COLONEL X
My son, Starbuck Solo, due to the gravity of Earth was now able to leap great bounds, and had the strongest strength on all Earth.
STARBUCK rises out and lifts the FLYING SAUCER, throwing it in the air.
