I was able to attend Fandomfest in Louisville, KY on Saturday and met Stan “the Man” Lee. I recorded the first half hour of his panel before I could no longer hold my phone at the crazy angle I had to hold it at. The video is Stan at his finest. At about the 15:00 minute mark someone asks about Andrew Garfield saying that Spider-Man should be bi-sexual. Stan’s reaction is classic and he seemed genuinely surprised like it was the first time he was hearing it. If so, here is your BREAKING NEWS alert! Stan Lee is not in favor of Spider-Man being bi-sexual and states that if true, he will have to “make a couple of phone calls”.
Stan is charming throughout and is truly a living legend. Only he could make me return to Fandomefest and it was worth it to meet a man I consider to be a personal hero. Enjoy the video and ignore the camera shake and the ladies ear in front of me. It was quite the camera hog.
