St Edwards Corfe Castle Wedding of Chrissi & Tom was one of those great British summer weddings!
Having all the prerequisites warm people, great chemistry, stunning location, sunshine and rain (plenty of it right on cue!)
A beautiful Dorset church wedding at St Edward, King and Martyr, followed by a few relaxed portraits in neighbouring fields, utilising the stunning backdrop of Corfe Castle. One of the most iconic landscapes in Dorset.
Always a pleasure working in such a beautiful part of the UK, its one of our favorite locations. The reception was at Kingston Country Courtyard, a venue that never disappoints, having a great team of staff overseeing the day. The food is exceptional!Chrissi & Tom wanted us to capture their free flowing day full of natural documentary photography, something we delight in providing.
A touching ceremony provided endless opportunities to capture all the emotion and the connection between both bride & groom. You can really connect with the wide range of expressions from the two of them- such great moments.
Seconds after the last confetti was thrown, the heavens opened, so it was a quick dash around to our set portrait location to utilise the Corfe Castle scenic background.
Two trusted umbrella’s, a couple of pauses, and then all hot footing through the sheep field. The location portraits were underway. Plenty of fun being captured here, along with some more tender moments.
Chrissi & Tom were a great couple for us to work with, knowing what they wanted, with just a little mix of portraits dropped in at the right time, to cap off the day. Not spending too long away from gathered friends and family. Short and sweet and very rewarding memories to treasure.
We returned to the courtyard for a drinks reception, followed by sit down meal. A little restricted on not having access to the gardens on this occasion due to the weather, but nothing was lost.
The day had a great momentum with some beautiful after dinner speeches being presented.
We hope you enjoy the way we documented their wedding day story. Comments are always appreciated.
Thanks to Chris, for being there to capture the day!
