Exotic prints of distant paradises. Tropical. Californians. Atypical.

Palm trees silhouettes that remain in the shadows at sunset. Graphic effects of fern leaves, of banana trees vegetation and juicy berries.

Pineapple, cherries and mango. Everything printed on T-shirts, crop tops, blouses and midi shirt or mixed together as a tropical wallpaper theme.

Among all of the Spring \ Summer 2015 trends, the one of the exotic prints in the city is definitely one of my favorite.

On the note of Je vais à Rio by Claude Francois, Nicole Miller  made me dream about a far summer, last September in NYC, with her pattern inspired by the Rio waterfront and her exotic and tropical images.

Even Vivienne Tam, Osklen, Chanel, Marni and many other designers have decided to make us dream of vacation spots and natural mirages during our long stay in the urban jungle.

Our wish to inhale, olfactory and visual, the breeze of lush nature has infected not only clothes and accessories. The exotic – tropical trend is not only about fashion. It also has affected interior design.

With vegetal and tropical wallpaper you can transform your bathroom into a corner of the jungle or your living in the garden of cherry trees inspired by Japan.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a minimal kind of person or that your style is essential and pure.

You can always avoid the vegetable exotic total look and combine one piece – skirt or shorts – with the simplest and most elegant among blouses in total black.

Or even go for transparency enhanced by floral decorations.

So the important thing is to remember that in order to have fresh air and an uncontaminated vision: the nature inspired one is the new black.
