Spring Style at Promenade Bethesda

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1
As a fashion blogger I often get asked about my photoshoot locations- " how I choose my locations and what are my determinants when choosing a location?"  I will not deny that a photoshoot location choice, aside your outfit is of utmost importance, coz when a pair of shoe can make your break any look, a wrong location and backdrop can sabotage your best looks too. The choice of location and the choice of outfit go synchronously. When I'm brainstorming my outfits, I am simultaneously working on a checklist of possible locations in the back of my mind. When I am wearing a fancy, feminine look, I usually prefer a more city like backdrop, but when I am sporting a more casual look, I don't mind a woody backdrop.
Eighty percent of the time my outfits are curated first and then comes the location, but there are occasions when I am given the choice of a location first, based on which I will have to plan my outfits. For instance I was recently invited to the Promenade Bethesda to use their newly renovated ARCADE as my photoshoot location. The minute I saw the pictures of that long bright hallway, I was transported to a dreamy romantic getaway and I knew I was wearing a long floor-grazing dress for my outfit choice. An outfit that was romantic, dreamy and uber feminine, befitting that luminescent hallway.

Five minutes from the beltway, The Promenade Towers are set on a lush 24-acres gated estate. From its matching towers atop Pooks Hill Road that offer spectacular views across Maryland and the District to its resort-style amenities, The Promenade makes everyday living seem like a vacation. Their newly renovated Arcade boasts of a pick-up grocery, market and deli, an on-site restaurant, a full-service salon/spa and a commercial-size gym to name a few. Their olympic-size pool and the tennis court are worth a too.
You got to check out this video for a peek into this amazing property in the heart of Bethesda.
