Hey again! I hope you enjoyed the Breath of Fresh Air Spring Tour last week. If you missed it you can see it HERE I loved sharing my entry and family room all dressed up for Spring. But the truth is I took so many photos of my entire home and I had way to many to share in one post. So I decided to kick off the first official day of Spring with a quick tour of my kitchen/dining area.

I gave you a sneak peak into my dining area with this pic from last week's post. Are you ready for the close up?
Really my spring decor is all about the fresh flowers. It's not hard to convince yourself to buy pretty spring blooms at the grocery store when it's still chilly out and the anticipation of warmer weather being so close is killing you.
I picked up a bundle of hydrangeas and to really spring them up I added some faux cherry stem branches.
Do you have any Turkish Towels in your house? Turkish Towels can be so useful in your decor. You can use them as throw blankets, stylish chair protecters (against kid and pet stains), beach blankets and yes even as a towel!
My wood counter stools are still going strong over here. I'm pleasantly surprised how sturdy they are still after having them for 3 plus years. My little guy often sits at the end for snacks and meals and any spills wipe right up. And I've never had to tighten up the screws to prevent wobbling.
Is there any flower much more springy than Hyacinths? Some might say tulips and daffodils but for me hyacinths take first place.
If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen this rug a few times. But I don't think I share this angle very often. This might be my favorite rug ever! I found it on Etsy and it's a pretty big rug for the space. But it really does set the tone and pull all the colors from the rest of my home into the kitchen. Surprisingly, I haven't had any major cooking spills on it!
I pulled the doors off these cabinets a few weeks ago to see how I would like the concept of open shelving. I love that I can display my collection of ironstone and vintage bottles. Someday I might make it permanent but until then I still have the cabinet doors if I decide to put them back.
I hope you enjoyed this part of my Spring Home Tour! Next week, my office! Until then......
