Blue And White Denim

The week before we left on our ski trip was oddly warm for late January, and I'd been throwing on this dress-worn-as-duster over jeans and a tee to run errands. But I also had this look in mind, which I'd wear out to meet friends for lunch. White denim always feels so fresh to me. I went with accessories that keep the look light and springlike.

I really like the fabric on this duster. It's a tencel/organic cotton blend and is very light and fluid.

When my friends at French Kande offered a piece from their latest collection, my first pick was this Aquamarine necklace. It's a gorgeous color, and my birthstone! If you're considering your first French Kande piece, I always recommend a stone necklace in a mid-length like this one. It looks great on its own or can be layered with longer or shorter necklaces. Here I've added a longer silver chain necklace from an earlier collection.

The silver cuff on the bottom (gifted) is from the latest French Kande collection, "Luxembourg" and layers nicely with other bracelets. The double strand pearl bracelet is from an earlier collection, and is one I still wear several times per week.

I first saw this bag everywhere on Instagram last year, but it seemed to be perpetually sold out. It's back in stock now. It's a fun Going-Out bag for Spring and Summer and very lightweight. The one I'm carrying here is the Small size. Straw, raffia and bamboo bags continue to be a strong trend for spring, so if you like them you'll have plenty of choices.

I bought these mules early last year, and still love them for both the funky look and comfort. I know that the frayed hem jeans aren't to everyone's liking, but I do like them and will continue to wear them. They're also available here with finished hems.
