Spiralizer – Kitchen Gadget

By Vsudarsan

Spiralizer is a revolutionary gadget that turns fruits and veggies into noodles! It has recently become quite popular because of all the recipe options that are available to cook. You could pretty much cook a low-carb vegetarian meal in no time. Of course, nothing can beat the presentation of veggie noodles. I love when carrots and beets are mixed together. Similarly, zucchini and squash looks so pretty as noodles. I have to agree though, it will take time to appreciate noodles made from vegetables compared to flour. It's a whole new healthy experience for your body.

The gadget looks like an hourglass with blades on the inside and feels like a pencil sharpener. All I had to do was place the vegetable into one of the ends and twist the vegetable like sharpening a pencil. There are two sets of built-in blades. On one side the blades are closer together for thiner noodles and the other side for thicker noodles. I think this is a great option to have. It worked great until I hit the last 1 inch of the vegetable. Wish there was a way to push this last piece inside the blade. The blades are quite sharp, and I love the fact that it is inside and I can't feel them from outside the gadget. It comes with a tiny brush which makes cleaning very easy. It also stores easily inside a kitchen drawer. Overall, it is a great product and I totally recommend it to anyone who is trying to be more healthy..
