Sex Criminals #6 Review
Frank is glad to have Sex again. I mean really, really glad. It’s almost disturbing. He probably had his orgasm face while reading this too. Not that I’ve ever seen it. Seriously. I haven’t. Don’t judge me.

Alex + Ada #7 Review
Troy falls in love with a synthetic life form, which isn’t the first time. Robot B-9, Data, Bigfoot from Six Million Dollar Man. Poor guy seems to have a thing for the machines. Let’s hope he never gets one of those robotic vacuums. Things could get ugly.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 10 #4 Review
Troy makes bad jokes and names a new Odd Couple in his latest BTVS review. Oh, and there are bubble baths. Don’t forget the bubble baths.

Winter World #1 Review
It’s 95 degrees outside. Just raising your eyebrow causes you to break out in a sweat. Troy battles the heat by reading about snow. Did it work? Probably not. Buy a fan next time. Idiot.

Batman Eternal #11 Review
Frank grinds up this issue and tries to drink it like coffee. Or perhaps I misunderstood his reference. I don’t know. What would you call Batman coffee? Dark Knight Roast? Cup of Joe Chill?

Original Sin #4 Review
Troy uses the words “last” and “question” a lot in his review of Original Sin #4. Somebody is getting a Thesaurus for his birthday.

Alien Legion #1 Review
The 80′s series returns and Troy goes back in time in his review. He even references parachute pants, which are the most awesome of all pants. Guys today are so boring with their britches. Branch out young fella. You haven’t lived until you’ve worn pants covered in zippers that don’t work and are so loud you couldn’t sneak up on a deaf person. Memories.
Yes, it is that time! Settle down, get comfortable and hang on for a blast of review goodness that we like to call the Spinner Rack Quickies!
MPH #2 by Frank Arena
The second installment of MPH pick up the pace quite a bit. We get to see Roscoe using the abilities of the drug in use almost the entire book. He gets payback on his old boss and gets his girl and best friend and moves them to the West Coast. All this happens in the blink of an eye or panel to panel. He gives the drugs to Chevy and his girlfriend and they race across the country. Only one page on the original “superhero” again so I don’t know how much longer until more of that story comes into play. Nice to see how the characters are using the drug but hopefully the story picks up speed soon or I might have to drop it just as fast.
The Wicked + The Divine #1 by Frank Arena
This was an odd book for me. It started off in 1923 and a bunch of people sitting around a table. All of them snap their fingers and the house blows up. Next page we are in 2014. There are female Gods performing shows. Teenagers going hysterical over them like they are pop icons. Then we get what seems to be the devil in a female form. She snaps her fingers and peoples heads explode. She goes on trial for the death of a couple men but something happens at the hearing that wasn’t her fault. This could be interesting or it could be just another religious fantasy book that I might not be able to get into. Read the oversized first issue and decide for yourself.
Harley Quinn #7 by Troy Lyons
Harley and Poison Ivy are at it again. The book that keeps getting better, just keeps getting uh…betterer. Ivy has a lead on who might be putting out the hits on Harley and helps her track down the nefarious fiend. It’s not who you think and things get worse for Harley before they get better. There are also wieners and beavers all over this issue. That’s also not what you are thinking. You dirty minded perv. If you are not reading this book then you suck. It’s probably the funniest book out right now and is about the only place you can get monthly Amanda Conner covers. That alone is worth the cover price.
Silver Surfer #3 by Troy Lyons
Best. Issue. Yet. This is perhaps the most beautiful book you will read every month, but Slott really is hitting his stride now. This issue wraps up the opening arc of the book and it does so in style. Slott gives us the best explanation of the Power Cosmic I have read and he even manages to squeeze in a 3 Stooges joke. A man after my own heart. Oh, and I will forever call Surfer’s board Toomie now. Forever.
