Spicy Greek Goddess Dip
Snacking is such an important part of eating healthy. How many of us are on "a diet" and eat healthy all day only to be starving in between meals and stuff our faces with cupcakes or chips. I know only because I have done it. The important thing about eating healthy is eating healthy all the time. Part of that can be accomplished easily by some simple planning.
To make sure that I am snacking smart I pack all my snacks for the week on Sunday. The easier it is for me to get out the door the better. This recipe made five lunch portions. I also packed a bunch of carrots, peppers and cucumbers to dip. You could also pack crackers or baked chips.
Spicy Greek Goddess Dip
I am more of a fan of savory snacks vs sweet. I especially like anything you can dip. It is like you are getting two snacks in one. The dip and the dippers! This dip is super easy to make if you have a food processor. You literally dump everything in and pulse! If you aren't into spicy things feel free to omit the jalapenos. This dip is so delicious I am contemplating using it as a sauce for everything. It would be especially delicious on fish tacos!Might I add this is the perfect mid day snack because it keeps you fuller, longer. It is packed with a ton of protein from the Greek Yogurt. It is key to try to find snacks that have alot of fiber or protein so you can stay full. Other great snacks with fiber are peanut butter, apples and whole grain bread.
Whatever snacks you choose snack well!!
