While French jewelry company Boucheron has long been known as a place of luxury in Paris, the brand has taken its name as well as a new concept to Asia. This week, Boucheron launched a new concept for its boutiques at its Hong Kong location, which is located on Pedder Street in the city. Known for its jewelry, watches and perfumes, Boucheron is relaunching its brand starting with the interior design of its stores. The Hong Kong location is the first of its kind, and other stores across the globe are expected to have a similar redesign in the coming months.

Boucheron is owned by the PPR Group, and the company has made it known that it intends to expand its brand awareness throughout Asia. Currently, there are already individual shops located in Shanghai and also Beijing. The idea behind these flagship locations is that more people will begin to recognize the brand and everything it has to offer since there are entire stores dedicated to the Boucheron pieces. The company has found that these stores are more beneficial than simply selling their pieces in other retail locations — these flagship locations truly emphasize the brand’s luxury and place among the elite.

The jewelry company has come a long way since its beginnings in 1858. Going through many transformations throughout the last several decades, Boucheron maintains its commitment to providing people with regal jewelry that truly defines what it means to be beautiful. Beginning in 1994, the company took on a commitment to taking the world by storm and marketing the brand on a global scale. This continues to be a priority, and is well noted as the flagship store in Hong Kong is opened with a brand new design that will set the standard for future Boucheron boutiques to come.
