Did you hear about the Oscar 2015 nominations announcement? Some predictable, some wonderful surprises, some get snubbed. The song Lost Stars gets nominated, I’m excited. Also, Steve Carell, Rosamund Pike, Reese Witherspoon, Felicity Jones & Marion Cotillard. Well, I hope I can watch more of the nominated movies.
Here’s one movie I’d like to see, The Theory of Everything, a biography movie about Stephen Hawking and his wife. After winning Best Score and Best supporting actor (Eddie Redmayne) in recent Golden Globes, it also gets 5 Oscar nominations, including Best Original Score. I like what Jóhann Jóhannsson composed. It’s classical, dreamy, elegant, grand and magical with the piano, orchestra and instrumental melody. Quite joyful and mood booster, too. Some romantic atmosphere suitable for dream weddings.
