Hey, hey. It’s a new week and I hope you have collected all the good energy from the weekend. Last weekend I watched one series and also Kick Ass 2 (2013). I think it’s one of the worst new film I’ve watched, sadly. But it’s not entirely disappointing, some parts of it was good. I may review it later, but now it’s time to feature some good soundtrack to listen.
Last week, I also watched Kings of Summer (2013). It was pleasant and reminded me of Stand By Me (1986) because it’s about young kids running away with the forest setting. I always loved movies with good scenery, and this movie delivers great relaxing atmosphere in the woods. And not just with the forest surroundings, the scenes also supported by cool laid-back soundtrack. It was composed by Ryan Miller, who also the frontman of alternative rock band, Guster. Apparently the songs below aren’t listed in the released soundtrack album, but featured in the movie. Listen to my favorite tracks :
MGMT – The Youth
Beirut – Postcards From Italy
Mean Lady – Far Away
Nothern Youth – Los Angeles
