I love music and a few years ago I heard these lyrics in a song and I instantaneously fell in love with it. I found out later it was the very beautiful voluptuous Adele and fell head over heels in love with her music. I have always had a special eclectic taste in music and prefer more underground artist then the shit I hear on the radio. I am ecstatic that 23 year old Adele is getting the recognition she deserves and whatever award she wins she deserves. Adele’s music will make you fall in love when you don’t even have anybody to fall in love with. Hell, I say fall in love with yourself! I mean every song I hear by her soothes me from Rolling in the Deep to Someone like You to Love Song. Do yourself a favor and listen to some of her music. I can’t count the number of nights I’ve fallen asleep with her music playing on my iPod and if you do have a special someone your ass will climb the walls after listening to Love Song because I swear one night I was spider man caught in a web! I sincerely hope she makes a full recovery from the vocal chord hemorrhage because she is one artist I must see live!
Tonight has been a music filled night for me I had Nuyorician Soul tell me to run away from love, Adele tell me to chase love, and the awesome and underrated Me’Shell Ndegeocello tell me that love made a fool of her and now she wants to know why. Music has soothe me when I was down, uplifted me when I needed motivation, made me cry when I needed too, and reminded me that there is still magic in lyrics. Especially, in a time when all you hear about is bitches, hoes, clockin dollas, and ass…..Look Ma No Hands….I’m still trying to figure out what that means but it’s catchy!
