Sony Xperia Tipo Vs Sony Xperia Go

Sony has always brought into the market some of the most amazing and unique range of smart phones. Recently the company has come up with its amazing range of smart phones which are Sony Xperia Tipo and the Sony Xperia Go. Both the smart phones have been able to make a mark for themselves in the market in a very small duration of time.

Processor

The Sony Xperia Tipo has been much in talks for its absolutely amazing features which also include its android system and processor. It runs on a very powerful 800 MHz cortex A5 processor. Sony Xperia goes on the other hand also has a very powerful processor which is a cortex A9 dual core 1GHz processor.

Both the phones have quite strong and powerful operating systems. Sony Xperia Tipo runs on the android version 4.0.4 which is the Ice cream sandwich and is very powerful. Sony Xperia Go on the other hand comes with an android version 2.3 which is Ginger bread and it is also further upgradable to the version 4.0.

Sony Xperia Tipo comes with a very fine TFT capacitive touch screen which offers 256K colours. The phone has a screen of 3.2 inches and also offers multi touch facilities. The phone also has a glass that is scratch resistant which is a very essential feature. Sony Xperia Go also has a very capacitive touch screen which also offers LED backlit LCD and has 16M colours.

Camera

Sony Xperia Tipo has a 3.15 mega pixel camera which also offers a facility of geo-tagging. You can also capture great quality videos. Sony Xperia Go also has a great camera. It has a 5 various other features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus and also smile detection.

Built

Both the phones are built very attractively.  Sony Xperia Tipo weighs only 99.4 grams and has dimensions of 103x57x33mm which is decent. Sony Xperia Go on the other hand has similar good features. It weighs 110 grams and has the dimensions of 111×60.3×9.8mm.

Connectivity

Both these phones are also famous for their strong and powerful connectivity. The Sony Xperia Go supports GPRS and EDGE the GPRS being up to 107 kbps and the EDGE is up to 296 kbps. The phone also features great connectivity through its Bluetooth. It also has a USB port. The Sony Xperia Tipo also supports GPRS up to 86 kbps and also supports EDGE facility up to 237kbps.

Battery

The battery life of both the phones is great and has been able to meet the marks of a good phone. The Sony Xperia Go is equipped with a Li-Ion 1305 mAh battery with a stand-by time of up to hours. The phone also has a great talk time of up to 6 to 7 hours. The Sony Xperia Tipo also has a Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery with a powerful stand-by time of up to 470 hours and a talk time of up to 5 hours.

Music and video

The phone also has great music and video features. The Sony Xperia Tipo supports both MP4 and MP3 music files while on the other hand Sony Xperia Go also supports MP4 and MP3 files along with TrackID music recognitions. Both the phones also come with some great MP3 ringtones.

Features

The features of both the phones have been very much talked about. Some of the best technology is equipped with the phones and it consists of some of the most amazing features. Some of the common features of these phones include an Alarm clock, calculator and predictive text input.

Price

The Sony Xperia Tipo price is very reasonable rate and it starts at Rs 8,271. While on the other hand Sony Xperia Go is not very expensive and it starts at 13,266. Both the phones are hence, easily affordable.

Conclusion

Sony Xperia Tipo and Sony Xperia go are going to be a tough competition for each other in the market because both these phones have some great features and are also very economical and priced at a rate which is easily affordable. The looks of both the phones are also attractive and eye-catching.
