Sony Xperia Tablet S Soon Available

The Sony Xperia Tablet S is available in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB version, with or without 3G. The tablet includes a 9.4-inch IPS display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a quad-core processor, a microSD card reader, two cameras and a separate folded magazine design.

The Sony Xperia Tablet S features 9.4 inch display with a resolution of 1,280 by 800 pixels and Sony uses its own TruBlack technology with IPS wide viewing angles and high brightness. Well, you get a lot more power because the tablet is equipped with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.5GHz.

Furthermore, the tablet comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage memory, a microSD card reader for expandable memory, an infrared port, a 1-megapixel camera on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. Unfortunately there are no USB or HDMI ports on the tablet, but according to Sony, these functions can be added via an adapter.

In terms of software, the Xperia Tablet comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but soon there will be an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rolled out. Sony Tablet S has the Android appearance, still changed a bit. However, there is a large number of applications as standard, including an app on the infrared port on the tablet to use to operate your TV.

The ‘WALKMAN’ application automatically sets a music list with your favorite songs on which your Facebook friends have indicated that they also like. The ‘Clear Audio +’ mode ensures a full sound, regardless of the music you listen to. The ‘Album’ application can use the Xperia Tablet included photos and videos viewed, sorted and shared via an intuitive user interface. The application can also be used to easily respond to Facebook photos of others.

Video content can be viewed with the ‘Movies’ application. These three applications allow users to use the personal photos and videos wirelessly viewing on DLNA compatible televisions. Through the ‘Music Unlimited’ service from Sony you at any time full access to millions of songs and thematic radio channels. Using the Reader application are your favorite digital books to read or is your digital bookshelf manage via different devices including the Sony Reader and the Xperia smartphone.

Guest Mode

Through the “Guest Mode” you can set individual profiles for all members of the family or just for guests. Thus, parents with their own user name can access features such as private mail, hidden from other family members. Each profile also has its own wallpapers, icons and access rights for apps that is set so that everyone in the household can use tablet in its own way.
