Sony is set to unveil its new wearable devices at IFA in a couple of days, but it seems that the SmartBand Talk and SmartWatch 3 have found their way online prior to IFA 2014.
The SmartWatch 3 will come with a 1.68in display, a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, and the IP58 certification. It will run Android Wear, with Sony’s UI on top. The SmartBand Talk will feature a curved e-ink display and Bluetooth connectivity option, and it will be able to alert you if you get a new notification. Those are all the details we have so far.
Sony also posted a teaser image on its UK Twitter account, with the status “We’ll be getting deep at IFA2014. But how deep…?” Sony’s current Xperia smartphones can survive up to 1.5 meters in the water, and the image suggest that new devices will be able to go deeper than 2 meters.
Sony’s scheduled to hold an event on September 4, so stay tuned.
