While the rest of the world is waking up I'm probably (more than likely this will be around 8 am) somewhere over South Carolina, on a flight bound for the Peach State. It's my first time actually flying commercially by myself so it's kind of a big deal. It's one of those "big girl" moments like opening your first credit card, your first legal drink, your first big move...except this one is my first flight by myself. It's a big life step. Maybe y'all think I'm crazy, but it's absolutely true.
Because I'm going straight from the airport to market, I wanted to make sure I was comfortable enough to walk, move, and run from flight to flight/ to the marta/ to whatever else is an obstacle. It's also important not to have a WHOLE bunch of jewelry, etc... to have to take off when going through security. Hence the very minimal earrings and bracelet accessorizing. My comfort boatneck long sleeve from J.Crew paired with a pair of Old Navy boyfriend jeans was the perfect option for a my two flights and layover in NC. The outfit looks appropriate enough to go to meetings at market in, but I won't be kicking myself for it. Apart from comfort, the outfit breathes and won't suffocate me in the ATL heat which I love. I'm so excited to see what this short adventure has in store and cannot wait to come back with stories among stories! xoBCC
