Sometimes You Have To Fall Apart To Find Who You Really Are

By Therealsupermum @TheRealSupermum

We all face obstacles and challenges along the road of life. I have learned that its not what life throws at you that determines your ID 10035740 Sometimes You Have To Fall Apart To Find Who You Really Areoutcome, it is the way we deal with these issues.

Life is not fair, plain and simple.

We can all spend our days moaning about how unfair life is and how we are the only ones in the world who have ever felt such despair. Yet when you take a look around and open your eyes, each and every one of us has a battle to fight.

I would never have used the word “strong” to describe myself, yet when I look at all the challenges I have faced, I am strong.

Oh there were times, many times I wanted to give up and run and hide but I didn’t. I have had no choice but to fight back.

Each time we are knocked to the ground we rise that little bit stronger.

Instead of looking at all the negatives in our life, why don’t we take a look at the positives?

Instead of thinking “I can’t do this” why are we not saying ” I can do this and I will?”

Challenging negative thoughts can be done.

We control what we think and we control our emotions, yet so many never learn to do this.

We seem to be so stuck in the past that we quit planning for the future. The past happened, the past is something that can not be changed. Yet you can learn from it and use it to your advantage. You survived it.

We all make mistakes, it makes us human but dwelling on regrets do nothing but install the feelings of failure and guilt. Let them go. You should never regret the things you have done, you should only regret things you didn’t get around to doing.

Sometimes You Have To Fall Apart To Find Who You Really Are

I would have never realised how strong and determined I was if life had not thrown a few twists my way. Take a look at the things you have over come and remind myself although it may have been a struggle, your still standing.

Do you agree with me?
