Soft Square Halo Engagement Ring Eye Candy

Posted on the 01 November 2016 by Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

Hello, hello! Today I want to show off some soft square halo engagement ring eye candy. Now, lately we’ve been discussing the essence of tackiness, and whether big engagement rings are tacky:

“Someone, somewhere, has decided that big engagement rings are tacky. _____ shape engagement rings are tacky. Halo engagement rings are tacky. Fancy yellow diamond engagement rings are tacky. Rose gold engagement rings are tacky. Mosaic engagement rings are tacky. And on, and on and on. But just remember – that person has snot in their coffee and you have a gorgeous engagement ring that you love.”

Read the whole post here for a thorough explanation of the coffee situation.

But before that post and the discussion of big tacky engagement rings, the original query was “Are halo engagement rings tacky?” You can probably guess my answer, but if you want to read me expounding on it, by all means.

So today, to prove that big engagement rings and halo engagement rings both fly under my tackiness radar, I want to show off some of my favorite (and some of the most popular) soft square halo engagement ring settings. Let’s all fall in love together.

This rose gold Tacori beauty is the perfect slice of pink heaven, with a restrained band that allows the bloom of diamonds to pop. And of course that added wedding ring doesn’t hurt one bit.

This Tacori Petite Crescent soft square halo engagement ring might just be the perfect specimen.

This Henri Daussi halo shows off a gorgeous halo embracing the .70ct cushion cut center diamond, but I love those shanks. They feature tapered shanks set with round brilliants that add more sparkle to the .92ctw of accent diamonds.

Leave it to Simon G. to craft the most unique soft square halo engagement ring in this round up. There is SO much going on. First, check out those princess cuts invisibly set between the flared split shanks. Amazing, right? They give way to an outer halo of white round brilliant diamonds. But then! The inner halo is a perfect circle of fancy pink diamonds set in rose gold, creating a warm glow around the dreamy center diamond of your choice.

So what do you think? Are you still firmly on Team Halo? And really – is there any halo more perfect than the soft square halo engagement ring?
