Slip ‘n Slide

By Sauceloves

We hadn’t realised that stairs were so demode until we saw this photo of the Prada slide in Milan.

Check out Muccia in the background

The slide,  which is installed in Muccia’s office and shoots three stories down, was built by German artist Carsten Höller. (Who also built slides in the Tate Modern in London, as well as at the Berlin Biennale.)

Then we realised Muccia ain’t the only one sliding down the building! Google, Microsoft and LEGO also have slides!

Right. We are installing a slide at s*uce HQ ASAP.

You know what else we want to see? A Channel slide. Imagine how soft it would be! All that fluffy quilting!

Maybe we just want to see Herr Karl slide down it.

Are slides the new black?

Discuss.
