My bathroom is finished at last!
The builder arrived in the last week of October quoting 4 to 6 days to replace a water damaged wall, fit a new bath, relay a floor, tile around the shower/bath, refit the shower and paint …. after SIX weeks it was finally finished yesterday.
Today I bought blinds and accessories to make it into a beautiful tranquil room. The paint colour is not really what I expected. Barley Twist was ordered, it was supposed to have beige tones, but it has turned out to be a very pale lemon. Never mind, I can live with that as long as the tiler, the plumber, the floor layer and the painter has finally gone.
It might not be to everyone’s taste but it’s my new bathroom and I like it.
