Siraj Talpur, one of two high profile accused in Shahzeb Khan Murder case has been arrested by Special investigation unit on Saturday. Police nabbed him from a hideout in district Naushero Feroz district of Sindh province.
Siraj Talpur flanked by his friend Shahrukh Jatoi shot dead Shahzeb Khan in Defense Karachi last week. Shahzeb was son of a police officer and a popular student. His murder was widely reported and on social media but law enforcement agencies did not take the case seriously due to high handedness of accused.
Wide coverage of incident on social media and police inaction prompted Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of the incident. Supreme Court showed displeasure over the progress and gave police 24 hours to arrest the cuplrits.
