Sir Ben Kingsley Reuniting with Marvel on “secret Project”

It seems we’ve not heard the last of ole Sir Ben Kingsley in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While doing press for Ender’s Game, Sir Ben Kingsley has revealed that he is working on a “secret project” for Marvel.

“It’s a secret Marvel project. I’m not allowed to say any more, you’re going to have to wait and see,” said Kingsley when asked about working with Marvel Studios again. “I was with many members of the crew that were involved in Iron Man 3. It was lovely to see them again. It was great to be with this wonderful family.”

Who or what this could translate into, who knows?  Could we see Trevor Slattery again as a cameo or as part of some type of Marvel One Shot?  Lending his voice to an upcoming animated project like Big Hero 6?  The statement about working with many members of the crew from Iron Man 3 makes me feel it’s film related, but beyond that, I’m not sure I could even make an educated guess.

I will say that Kingsley only has high praise for Marvel, saying: “I think they have enormous taste as creative artists. There’s nothing lazy or gratuitous about their work. They are at the top of their game, and they’re great company to keep.”  So I’m semi curious on if it could have been more him reaching out to them rather that the assumed Marvel contacting him.

Guess we’ll just have to wait patiently and see what this project turns out to be.
