Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan left for London in wee hours of Friday to meet Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.
Paknews has learnt that he will tender his resignation soon.
MQM chief had summoned Ishratul Ebad Khan, who also belongs to the party, for an important meeting late on Thursday.
Sources have told that, Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khoro will be acting governor and he will sign on the bill of 1979 local bodies system.
Ishratul Ebad Khan had been appointed as 30th governor of Sindh by General (R) Pervez Musharraf on December 27, 2002.
