Simple Smokey Eye – Using Eyeshadows That We All Have in Our Vanity Now

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1

I've had a lot of my followers request a smokey eye tutorial that was not only easy to do and didn't need specialized skills, but also incorporated products/shades that we all already owned.

I am a sucker for smokey eyes and have recreated looks using myriad eyeshadow colors in the past, but this one is my favorite. It is my classic go-to look, is really easy to do, and literally takes two minutes from start to finish. Keep scrolling for the tutorial video that I shared on my IGTV, and for a list of products used. I've also shared the substitutes / alternate methods of getting the desired eyeshadow shade.

Simple Smokey Eye – using eyeshadows that we all have in our vanity now

BLACK- I used shade DARK SIDE from my Milani Holiday 2019 eyeshadow palette, see HERE. If you don't have a black eyeshadow, you can totally use a kohl pencil to paint your eyelids.

BROWN- I used shade LUST from the same palette HERE. This was used to enhance and define the crease. This is a commonly used shade and we all happen to own it.

- I used a lighter blush shade from my PIXI eyeshadow palette to soften and blend any harsh lines. If you don't have a blush shadow, feel free too use your blush colored blush as a substitute.

Other products used

- I skipped the liquid eyeliner and used a kohl pencil to rim both my upper and lower lash line/waterline.

- I used Milk Beauty Lush high volumizing mascara.
