Okay, I’ll admit upfront this is a loose theory because it’s based on the only visual we have of Ronan to this point; his action figure, but bear with me.
Below are some screen shots from last night’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that featured the mystery blue humanoid. Look at the markings on his body, particularly the ones on his chest/peck.
Now, while it’s not the clearest or best view, check out his undamaged hand as well. You can visually see how the thumb is somewhat exaggerated compared to a normal human, and how much thicker it is compared to his other fingers.
Now, compare those two features to these photos of the Ronan figure coming out for Guardians of the Galaxy. Yes, I realize I’m comparing this to an action figure, but certain aspects and characteristics are going to carry over, especially ones that are particular to the individual character.
See the same hieroglyphic markings on Ronan’s armor that you do on the aliens chest? And check out the hands on Ronan too, those are some big boy thumbs compared to his fingers.
Am I stretching? Yeah, probably a bit, especially on the hands, but with what little people know about the aliens and characters that are featured in Guardians of the Galaxy, introducing one of the aliens species prior to the film’s release, might not be and entirely bad play by Marvel. I suppose all we can do is wait and see (and speculate like crazy until then!)
