retina display MacBook Pro with the Retina Display will be shipped from Apple within the next 3-4 weeks: it has been officially notified by the Apple Store site. This estimate is down from previous estimates  of 2-3 weeks provided by Apple when the laptop was released a few days ago.

At the WWDC show last, Phil Schiller said that the MacBook Pro by Retina Display will be directly available to users. Apparently this is no longer true. The reason for the decline in shipping the new MacBook Pro is likely due to high consumer demand for laptops with 15-inch screen. MacBook Pro with the Retina Display itself can be ordered in two versions, a 15-inch to 2.3 GHz, or 15 inches with 2.6 Ghz. Other specifications are the presence of 512GB of flash storage, quad-core processor Intel Core i7, 8GB of 1600MHz memory, Intel HD 4000 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650m with 1GB of GDDR5 memory, and built-in battery with capacity of up to 7 hours. Do not miss the news about the possible free upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion, which currently only shipped with OS X Lion. Below is a video showing the line to purchase a MacBook Pro Retina Display in San Francisco:

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
