Shine Bright Like A Diamond: The Whirlwind Tour Comes to an End.Rihanna brought her whirlwind 777 tour to an end at NYC. It turned out to be rather ‘adventurous’ seven days. The singer had performed in seven different countries in the last seven days, traveling the globe from gig to gig on a private 777 jet.

She was accompanied by not only her crew but also journalists and 200 lucky competition winners who got to attend all the gigs with her and also had the privilege to travel with her on her private jet. The tour had its own set of glitches where she had fans wait for hours before she could pick up the mic.Though we would think of the ones who won the competition as the lucky few, they would beg to differ. The long hauls at airports, and constant travel got the better of them. They also complained about the fact that they didn’t get to see the star as often as they liked to even though they traveled on the same jet.

New York seemed to have got the best of it all. Her new song Diamonds seemed to be a crowd favorite at every location. Rihanna gave her ardent fans more of her voice at this show, and it was a good look on her. Among the crew of 150-odd journalists traveling with the star, backing tracks had been a constant cause for concern, but for her last hurrah, the 24-year-old truly sang more of the set than she collectively sang for the entire tour. Needless to say, it was a better, more energetic set than any of the six that preceded it. Rihanna’s voice is a good one; she should really let her fans hear it more often, or, ideally, always.

Rihanna celebrated the release of her new album Unapologetic, at a Best Buy in the Big Apple. It is predicted that her new album Unapologetic will open #1 on the Billboard chart, according to the music industry experts.

Here at Webster Hall, the Pop Princess enjoyed the company of long term mentors Jay Z,Tyty and Jay Brown with whom she traveled all week long..
