As continual learners, one of the fun and exciting things is to share what is learned.
Where you can learn or reflect…
The more I learn the more I want to share which can sometimes be off putting, especially to those people in this world who are not learning, or choose to spend their time watching rather than learning.
Lord Chesterfield gave us this good advice,
“Never seem wiser or more learned than the company you are with. Treat your learning like a watch and keep it hidden. Do not pull it out to count the hours, but give the time when you are asked.”
I liked this because it was a good reminder to me to be a listener and gentle with those that aren’t on the same quest as me – that I learn from everyone which is a choice.
