Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the co – owner of Kolkata Knight Riders and international pop sensation Armando Christian Perez popularly known as Pitbull are gearing up to give a power packed performance at the opening ceremony of the sixth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) on 2nd of April at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif will also perform at the opening ceremony marking the beginning of the IPL series, which opens on 3rd of April.
“SRK loves the city of joy and he is thrilled to perform at the ceremony. When Pitbull was told that he is being invited to perform at the opening ceremony of IPL and SRK would also be performing as well, he agreed to come within minutes,” a source said.
Kolkata Knight Riders is owned by Shah Rukh Khan in partnership with actress Juhi Chawla and the team won the last edition of IPL.
