SF 5: Zero Zero

By Johntalbott

Zero Zero is a place I passed on the bus and liked the look of.  Local friends supported my hunch and Colette and I ate there just before going out to SFO and the East Coast.

She started with an arugula salad with strawberries of all things that was quite good and I had a superb pizza Castro that had homemade sausage, peperocino, sopresatta, tomato sauce, mozzarellac and basil.

Because of a snafu in opening the wine I had chosen, they comp'd us for a semi-freddo type chocolate dessert that was also terrific.

Our bill. with a liter of red wine and two coffees, was $100.70.

Go?  Next time.
