Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky have done it again. Sex Criminals #5 has me wanting more!
If you haven’t read the first four installments of this riviting and original series, stop what you are doing and go buy them. You can read my previous review on them here if you choose. I came into this series only knowing the controversy of it and now I am hooked. Sex Criminals is on my “must read” list. I am really enjoying the way the story is told. It continues with the same style through this book. Now we get to know a bit more of how these sex cops got into “The Quiet” ( as Suzie calls it). We are gaining more background on Jon and we are closing the gap of past and present. There is a surprising twist that happens in the last pages that leaves me asking questions….which is good. It makes me want to get the next book when it comes out. It just won’t happen fast enough.
I am so glad that I stepped out of my comfort comic zone and picked up this series. This looks like the end of volume 1 from what I gather by the closing page of the book. I am looking forward to a TPB to read this through front to back again. I just hope that Sex Criminals lasts longer than I do.
